Julie is a self taught artist, having started drawing as soon as she could hold a pencil in her little paws... um, fingers. She is a graduate from the Desktop Publishing Program at Mohawk College, and has had the opportunity to participate in formal Oil Painting lessons. Through college Julie learned an abundance of different illustration methods including pen and ink, water colour pencil crayon, marker, airbrush and more. Julie's passion for drawing is obvious in her work - carefully composed to capture the true spirit of her subject. Drawing and painting are not "work" for Julie, but rather a much loved hobby and a creative outlet for her vast imagination. Julie offers pet portraits to her clients in acrylic, graphite pencil and coloured pencil. She also has uncommissioned animal and wildlife art available at times.
